Eye Learn Cares was created to fill a real gap in support for blind and low vision individuals. Too often, people were being trained by professionals who didn’t share their lived experience, leaving them without the kind of understanding and guidance that only peers can provide. What was missing wasn’t just information—it was connection, community, and a sense of being seen. We knew things had to be different, and that’s how this all started. What began as a grassroots effort quickly turned into something bigger, shaped by the people we serve and led by those who’ve walked similar paths.

Since the beginning, we’ve focused on more than just teaching skills. We help people build confidence, grow into leadership, and find strength in who they are. Our assistive tech training, advocacy workshops, and one-on-one mentorship all come from a place of lived knowledge and real care. We’re by appointment only so each session is focused and personal, and we make sure our space is ready for everyone—wheelchair accessible, with Wi-Fi available for all sessions. We also offer free consultations and accept Cash App to keep things flexible and simple. At Eye Learn Cares, we’re not just sharing tools—we’re building something stronger together.
